What do I need to use BamFleet?

BamFleet is the unofficial BamBuddy and PrintBuddy API client for iOS. It doesn't talk to your printers directly — instead it connects to your own BamBuddy/PrintBuddy server, which does the talking. Once that server is running, just point BamFleet at its address, sign in, and your whole fleet shows up on your phone.

Which printers does BamFleet support?

BamFleet works with any printer your BamBuddy/ server manages — so if your server can see it, BamFleet can too. Live status, camera views, queues, temperature and fan control and filament tracking all work per printer, with your entire fleet visible on one screen.

Is BamFleet free?

Bamfleet isn't completely free. I'd love to keep it that way, but building, maintaining, and releasing an iOS app comes with ongoing costs — including Apple's developer fees.

There's a small one-time fee to help cover those costs and support future improvements. No subscriptions — ever.

How do I connect to my printers?

Open the Connect screen, enter your BamBuddy/PrintBuddy server address, and sign in. You can add a port (e.g. :8000) or an http:// prefix if your server isn't on HTTPS — otherwise the scheme is detected automatically.

What sign-in methods are supported?

Three options: username and password, an API key, or No Auth for servers that don't require credentials.

Can I watch a live camera feed?

Yes — a full-screen live chamber view lets you check on any print without walking over to it.

Can I reprint past jobs?

Every completed print is archived with its duration, filament weight, cost and settings, plus timelapses. Reprint any of them with one tap.

Does BamFleet have home screen widgets?

Yes. Widgets show per-printer progress, time remaining and overall fleet status right on your home screen — no need to open the app. Please note that widgets are not realtime - they usually update in 10 minute intervals.

Is my server address and API key safe?

Your credentials are stored locally on your device and sent only to the server you configure — never to us or any third party. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Is BamFleet an official Bambu Lab, BamBuddy pr app?

No — BamFleet is an unofficial, independent client for the BamBuddy and PrintBuddy API.
